Our History
Carolina Farrier School was founded in 2023 by Jimmy Petty, CF APF a highly experienced and knowledgeable farrier based in North Carolina. With over 33 years of experience in the field, Petty recognized a need for a comprehensive farrier education program that would provide aspiring farriers with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the working field. Drawing on his extensive expertise and a deep passion for the art and science of farriery, Petty founded Carolina Farrier School with the goal of providing a personalized and high-standard education in equine farriery.
